Reading stories and incorporating yoga movements is a great way to connect with your child.

The yoga stories below integrate yoga postures and philosophy into a storybooks for children. They integrate movement, reading, and fun to foster critically thinking children who are creative, responsible, and globally minded. Try Dragon Breathing: Inhale in four parts (4 sniffs) through the nose and exhale letting the breath flow strongly out of the open mouth, tongue sticking out. When exhaling stick the tongue out as far as you can and open your eyes wide. Continue for 1-3 minutes. This is excellent for releasing tension and anger. Below is a cute video of a child’s version.
